A Tribute to India from my diary

Warso ka gulami ke bad mili hai ye aajadi.
Saja hi desh apna jaise kisi dulhan ki ho rahi ho shadi.

Veer jawano ne jo di hai kurbani.
Unke khoon paseene ki laaj hume hai bachaani.

Tirange ki aan mein kie hai humne bade bade karnaam.
Bachcho se lekar bade tak hue isme kurbaan.

Yeh wahi bhumi hai jahan hota hi devi devtaon ka waas.
Bharatwarsh wahi desh hai jo pure viswa mein hai khass.

Marte dum tak kahenge hum na sir jhuka hai kabhi naa hi jhukayenge kabhi.
Jo apne dum pe jiyen such mein zindegi hai wahi.

Mere dwara likhi ek choti swarachit kavita.
Sabko swatantra diwas ki hardik subhkamanayien.

Ten ways to enhance and stimulate ones creativity, my notion.

  1. Connecting with people – Creativity is about people, therefore you need to build your network, engage with the right mentors and join Creative Communities.
  2. Creating right environment – Take control of the workspace and create an environment conducive to creative thinking like, this could involve setting up a place with a large wooden desk, a library and a soft leather chair, or it could be a quiet and relaxing retreat to read and think quietly without interruptions.
  3. Be first to learn new creativity tools – Attend seminars and workshops on creativity, and become familiar with a selection of creativity tools and techniques that you can begin to implement and use (e.g. brainstorming, mind-mapping, 6 Thinking Hats,  random word, visualization, morphological analysis, imagination, intuition).
  4. Expand mind through reading – Read books and articles on creativity, but also references on  personal development competitive stories and articles.
  5. Fun and humor – Play games, solve puzzles, attend comedy shows, take up a sport, go to the park, arrange get-together with your old and new friends and colleagues which will refresh, or watch your favorite movies.
  6. Take up the arts – Learn to draw and paint, learn to play a musical instrument, or participate in drama.
  7. Travel and discovery – Visit inspiring places such as Brindavan Gardens, Ancestral and Holy places, Near by Lake views or you can visit your local museum, Art Gallery, or relaxing holiday destination.
  8. Understand the power of your subconscious – Take advantage of the alpha state or the power of visualization to enhance your Creative abilities.
  9. Think and work on paper – Escape from the current dominance of computers by keeping a journal, an ideas notebook, or grab a pen and paper and write down the problems you want to solve and the opportunities you want to develop.
  10. Ideas to action – One of the most rewarding activities is to take the ideas you have captured, develop them further and implement them to achieve successful outcomes.

NASA Article on Sanskrit

In ancient India the intention to discover truth was so consuming, that in the process, they discovered perhaps the most perfect tool for fulfilling such a search that the world has ever known -- the Sanskrit language.

Of all the discoveries that have occurred and developed in the course of human history, language is the most significant and probably the most taken for granted. Without language, civilization could obviously not exist. On the other hand, to the degree that language becomes sophisticated and accurate in describing the subtlety and complexity of human life, we gain power and effectiveness in meeting its challenges. The access to modern technology which has been designed to give ease, efficiency and enjoyment in meeting our daily needs did not exist at the beginning of the century. It was made possible by accelerated advancement in the field of mathematics, a "language" which has helped us to discover the interrelationship of energy and matter with a high degree of precision. The resulting technology is evidence of the tremendous power that is unleashed simply by being able to make the finer and finer distinction that a language like mathematics affords.
At the same time humankind has fallen far behind the advancements in technology. The precarious state of political and ecological imbalance that we are now experiencing is an obvious sign of the power of technology far exceeding the power of human beings to be in control of it. It could easily be argued that we have fallen far behind the advancements in technology, simply because the languages we use for daily communication do not help us to make the distinctions required to be in balance with the technology that has taken over our lives.
Relevant to this there has recently been an astounding discovery made at the NASA research center. The following quote is from an article which appeared in AI Magazine (Artificial Intelligence) in Spring of 1985 written NASA researcher, Rick Briggs.
In the past twenty years, much time, effort, and money has been expended on designing an unambiguous representation of natural languages to make them accessible to computer processing. These efforts have centered around creating schemata designed to parallel logical relations with relations expressed by the syntax and semantics of natural languages, which are clearly cumbersome and ambiguous in their function as vehicles for the transmission of logical data. Understandably, there is a widespread belief that natural languages are unsuitable for the transmission of many ideas that artificial languages can render with great precision and mathematical rigor.
But this dichotomy, which has served as a premise underlying much work in the areas of linguistics and artificial intelligence, is a false one. There is at least one language, Sanskrit, which for the duration of almost 1000 years was a living spoken language with a considerable literature of its own. Besides works of literary value, there was a long philosophical and grammatical tradition that has continued to exist with undiminished vigor until the present century. Among the accomplishments of the grammarians can be reckoned a method for paraphrasing Sanskrit in a manner that is identical not only in essence but in form with current work in Artificial Intelligence. This article demonstrates that a natural language can serve as an artificial language also, and that much work in AI has been reinventing a wheel millennia old.

Worth trying

Knowledgeous sharing from one of my friends experience:

Sharing a great experience (happened today), do read below: Yesterday, on the way to office, I was stopped by traffic policemen (Ghazipur, Delhi), and asked to show relevant documents of my bike. I told them that 1) pollution certificate has expired and 2) Insurance copy that I was carrying is also outdated (although I have the renewed Insurance policy but was not carrying at that time). The senior Inspector told me to that this will reach to a heavy penalty amt. So he offered me to SETTLE DOWN the matter then n there. (A thought ran in my mind, asking myself: I was the part of people supporting "Anti-Corruption" movement lead by ANNA HAZARE, just a month back, and the practical situation was in front of me, n how to deal with that). Suddenly, I got my answer, and I refused them to pay anything, and asked them to issue a CHALLAN. Hence, they issued the same with 2 offenses viz. 1) Expired Pollution and 2) Expired Insurance and retained bike's RC (Registration Certificate). To pay the penalty I was to appear at Karkardooma Court (room no. 30) by 4pm today. So, I went there, at the scheduled time. The moment I parked my bike, a bunch of people called Agents approached me and started querying about the matter, and were assuring to do the job done in 15 min. and were telling me that for both the offenses I 'll be charged about Rs. 2000/-, and if I had the Insurance then Rs 1100/- at least, but they can settle the matter within 500-600 rupees (including their commission worth Rs. 100). From parking up to Room no. 30, some dozens of Agents approached me and delivered the same damn story. I told them "listen, If I were to pay You people then I would have paid the policemen and need not come here". I submitted the copy of CHALLAN and waited for my turn in Room no. 30. The (Lady)Judge appeared in the court and began hearings... after 5-7 minutes my name was called and was asked to present the valid Insurance doc. I presented the Original doc. and in fraction of seconds she announced the PENALTY AMOUNT, paid the amount immediately, collected my RC and the Amount Receipt later after the rest of hearings. HMMM... I know, u all are interested in the Penalty Amount, to my SURPRISE!! as well, it came to just Rs 100/-, nothing else. I was getting a feeling of Satisfaction and Proud, in the sense that, ATLEAST I TRIED to live up to the Ideology of 'ANNA's Movement' against Corruption, in real sense. MORAL: Never hesitate to approach the officials directly to resolve our personal matters. This way, we will get to know the actual rules n regulations and could contribute in removing CORRUPTION. Please Spread if u liked/not liked this. It was amazing experience

Biofuel as Future Fuel - The LPG to be replaced by BAFF

Disappointed with galloping LPG prices burning your pockets? Don't worry. Two students from IIIT DM (Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design and Manufacturing), Kancheepuram, an institution incubated by IIT Madras campus, have come up with a cost-effective bottled bio-gas fuel which not only acts as a substitute for your cooking gas but also helps manage kitchen waste.

Bio-fuels As Future Fuels (BAFF), a project by Kunal Bhambhani and Swagat Sharma who are on a mission to bring in a bottled bio-gas while keeping the environment clean, has already drawn the attention of many.

“The inspiration behind the BAFF was the amount of waste we noticed in Indian cities. A large chunk of the waste is coming from our kitchens,” say Kunal and Swagat. “We were aware of various gobar gas projects initiated by the government in rural areas, but we want to develop something on that lines for the urban India too.”

But what inspired them the most was ARTI, an Ashden award winning technology in Pune that uses kitchen waste to run biogas plant. “We thought a step ahead and we wanted to use the idea to produce a bottled bio-gas, which acts as a substitute for cooking cylinder.”

The new cylinder will help the cities remain clean, as it uses the waste from vegetable markets, hotels and residential areas.

It may take a while to make their dream a reality, as a compression technology has to be built to use the gas in a compressed form as a substitute for LPG cylinder. But they assure that the new cylinder will be priced Rs. 100 less than the existing price of the gas cylinders.

Since they want to start a manufacturing unit of household gas cylinders with the compression technology, the initial capital is going to be huge. However, the duo did not have to sweat it out to raise funds. A few angel investors came forward to help them. They will provide a total of Rs. 60 lakhs in two tranches -- Rs. 15 lakh initially, and Rs. 45 lakh later to market the product.

“There is no point in building a prototype as it is not a small machine. So, we plan to have an experimental set up and then go for a proper investment of Rs. 2 crore and start manufacturing compressed gas,” they explain.

Kunal and Swagat have no plans to sell the idea to anyone. “It's our idea and both of us are motivated to make this a reality. We do not want to remain just technologists. We want to be social entrepreneurs and bring about a positive change in the society. We are not just getting rid of the waste but we create renewable energy too. Ours is a green product.”

They are not just going to be satisfied with just one product. “We do not want to restrict ourselves to just biogas alone. We want to produce many more green products. Biogas is only one of them,” they say.

“We know that biofuel and biodiesel also have the potential. That is why we have named our product, BAFF (Biofuel as Future Fuel). We want to see the logo of BAFF all over India like that of Indian Oil. That is our dream.”

Corruption in the Country

If I'm not wrong since few decades we are discussing regarding corruption in the country, for few days when it comes to light through a politican or any high cadre people then it comes to picture after few days it vanishes like how it came to light. As a human being who are stealing and stashing amounts in their lockers and swiss accounts does they don't have minimum responsibility to be part of successful and prosperous India, do they have Alien glands in their blood cells?

Now a days its a new trick and fashion to some politicians/personalities to take a channel or a program and tell moral stories to do like this or like that so that you will grow more, so funny! if he initiates in a well manner and help the real needy then where from the corruption comes from! now every one bows and salutes the politicians/personalities due to fear or for some favour, if he really with whole heart helps the people, public will stand and bow with polite and love, does this logic missed by the politicians?

Here would like to be clear that some people for their personal benefits he/she is trying to do favors and grab attention of the politician/personalities which is too bad and its like slavery act, and is ruining the culture and day life for many people. For self benefits they are offering bribes which leads to corruption. The public must be aware of this, they have to be clear about their needs and should not over joy to earn more, which will lead to corruption or changing the system for general public.

Its bad to say when the youth are adopting few fashion cultures like smoking, drinking and dressing from their heroes then why don't they learn the good things from them which made him to become a hero or the heroic deeds.

Best characters with heroic deeds has been awarded with great awards and prize money like Narayanan Krishnan (One must learn the passion to help the needy and feel the joy by helping others) and Anuradha Koirala (Who taught the world that woman trafficking is a not a pardonable act and show the path to live happliy while they are departed from the family) who won the prestigious awards from CNN hero of the year, one must learn from them and have fire in the belly to do such heroic deeds which will make our country proud to have such people.

Sometimes I feel and its true and reality if everyone follow

Many festivals we celebrate in India like Ganesh Chaturthi, Dushehra, Kalipooja etc., many of us have seen big big cutouts of  goddess in one place and remaining up to complete road side either their favorite leaders or politicians. In my opinion if the money spent for the cutouts,  the poles and labor I think the road side drainage and sanitary can be modernized to a good extent where it can be helpful for every one and a good credit to the persons who have spent money on that. On the other hand after the festival, the cutouts and poles becomes burden to re-use in next session or may be a problem of possession. Its my opinion let me know if my thought is wrong.

Real meaning of Namaste

Real definition of Namaste (pronounced na, mah, stay) is both a physical gesture and a spoken spiritual salutation, which is the recognition of the divine spirit (or soul) in another by the divine spirit in you.

"Nama" means bow,
"as" means I, and
"te" means you.

The word Namaste means simply  “I bow to the divine in you.”

The Namaste Sign
The acknowledgement of spirit to spirit is represented by placing the hands together in front of your third eye (Third Eye Chakra) and bowing your head then bringing your hands down in front of your heart (Heart Chakra).
Performing both the Namaste gesture and saying the word Namaste at the same time can be done when greeting someone, however, in India the gesture alone means Namaste, so it is not necessary to say the word.

Namaste in Meditation
Namaste can also be used at the beginning of your meditation to help you go deeper into your divine heart center. By bringing the hands together at the heart chakra you access the flow of divine love and by bowing your head and closing your eyes the mind will more easily let go to the divine spirit of your heart.

Seeing Others
Seeing others through the definition of Namaste will help you to see the true divine spirit in everyone. By doing so you are literally meeting them at the soul level. You look beyond the surface into the true nature of every being.
There a many other interpretations of the meaning of Namaste here are a few:
The God/Goddess within me acknowledges the God/Goddess within you. The Divine in me recognizes and honors, the Divine in you. The spirit within me bows to the spirit within you. I greet that place where you and I are one. I honor the place in you which is of love, of truth, of light and of peace.
No matter which interpretation you choose you should think of it as a divine blessing that honors sacredness and equality in everyone.

Key words: Namaste, Indian Namaste, Real meaning of Namaste, Namaskar, Nomoskar,

10 Healthy Tummy Flattening tips that works

Here's a quick guide you can follow to help flatten your stomach. Print this list out and post it somewhere in your house where you'll see it.

1. Walk/jog for 30 minutes at least 3 times per week to boost your metabolism in order to burn that fat.

2. Eat a small handful of almonds (at least 6) every morning. Almonds are one of the healthiest snacks you can eat and the protein is good for burning fat.

3. Purchase a DVD and do the exercises at least 2-3 times per week. Works on toning your entire body with concentration on your powerhouse (middle section) and will improve your flexibility.

4. Add fiber to your diet and cut down your intake of the bad crabs. Foods such as white bread, pastas, potatoes, and white rice should be limited. Eat brown rice and whole wheat bread instead. To get that needed fiber increase your intake of fresh fruits and vegetables (especially the leafy green ones).

5. Drink skim milk instead of whole milk. Keep your dairy intake at a minimum because these products often cause bloating and gas.

6. Perform proper crunches at least 3 times a week to train your abs. Avoid sit-ups because they really do very little to firm your stomach. Sit-ups work your hip flexors more than anything else.

7. Drink plenty of water. You should be drinking 6 to 8 glasses per day. Not only will it help fill you up so you eat less, but it aids in digestion.

8. Stop eating within 3 hours of bedtime. If you have to munch on something, eat a small portion of vegetables or fruit. Not eating late can make a huge difference.

9. Eat smaller meals more often instead of 2-3 big meals per day to keep from having that bloated look and feeling. Eating more meals actually kicks up your metabolism.

10. Take a break from healthy eating once in a while and treat yourself to your favorite dessert. If you completely deprive yourself of the foods you love you'll run the risk of going back to your bad eating habits. Moderation is the key.

Just remember that slow and steady wins the race when it comes to slimming your waistline and flattening your stomach. There's no such thing as losing your stomach fast. You have to work at it daily and remain consistent with your diet and exercise.

If you remember nothing else, remember this: A flat stomach comes with TOTAL BODY FITNESS - not just from spot toning your stomach with crunches.
